Reactions
- I started the B12 3 weeks ago. I take 1000 mcg daily at night, around 9pm. I noticed my anxiety has increased after the first week or so. I’d like to know if other patients have experienced increased anxiety during the protocol? Is this a normal reaction?
- Is any of this related to why I've had chronic inflammation for about a decade?
- Since starting the iodine supplement, all I want to do is sleep. I don’t know if it is good or bad. Could it be because I started on the higher dose of iodine even though I dropped back down on the sixth day? Today I also had a headache too so I took Potassium Gluconate tablet thinking that the sleeping and headache could be a reaction.
- Do the adrenal glands get addressed at any point of the protocol? When the methylation improves, do the adrenal glands get better as a result? Do you recommend some plants or other stuff for adrenal gland fatigue?
- The one thing I'm already having trouble with is constipation, what do you suggest to add to your protocol for that, just increase water and fiber?
- I bought iodine which helped at first. I’m still on 50mcg. But now I have a bit of a headache and it hurts to move my eyes around. And I feel depressed and sad. What do I do?
- Is it necessary to fix the Vitamin B12 deficiency first in order to get healthy sleep? So will the techniques for optimized sleep and Vitamin D levels only make a difference after B12 is fixed or is it equally important to focus on sleep before B12 levels are optimized?
- I'm having reactions to iodine and selenium. Can I introduce the molybdenum and B2 while I am on such low doses of the iodine and selenium? Can you please advise me on what you think I should do?
- Is it normal to feel poorly with just the iodine supplement? I remember reading one of the supplements that it was normal to not feel well but I feel kind off.
- I’m feeling very sleepy and fatigued at the moment. Should the iodine and selenium be doing this?
- I've been taking iodine but I haven't had any reactions like you said people do. Is that a bad sign? Does that mean I'm not deficient?
- When during the day is it best to take B12, and do I take it away from the minerals?
- Can I take potassium at the same time as the iodine?
- I have been on iodine for two weeks but my head keeps feeling weird and I need to lie down several times a day.
- I have been taking the iodine for over 3 weeks now but at different doses and with breaks. I dropped back down to 31 mcg for a few days when I was having trouble, but I am now back to 62 mcg. Is it okay to start on the selenium now or should I wait until I have been taking a consistent amount or higher amount for longer?
- I had recently read that taking too much iodine could actually be bad for some people with hypothyroidism. If that is the case, when would it be bad to take it? Or, just like you explained in your presentation, does it have to do with the type of iodine you're taking that could have an adverse effect?
- Should D-Phenylalanine (DPA) be taken on an empty stomach, away from food, or how would you recommend that I take it? And is it better to take it in the morning or evening, or it doesn't really matter?
- I had a bit of reaction early this morning after upping the Molybdenum. Mostly a headache. I seem to remember you said to take 200-400mg of Potassium Gluconate. Is that right?
- Is there anything else we can do to lessen start up reactions?
- Will the heme iron make you constipated?
