The one thing I'm already having trouble with is constipation, what do you suggest to add to your protocol for that, just increase water and fiber?
Yes, you can drink lots of water and eat fiber-rich vegetables.
I would also recommend eating fermented foods, such as high-quality yogurt and fermented vegetables.
I personally eat a lot of sauerkraut. So, you could go with that as well if you want.
You can also try incorporating resistant starch into your diet.
So resistant starch feeds the good bacteria in the gut.
What you can do is you can cook white rice or white potatoes. Then refrigerate them overnight. Then eat them.
When you cook rice or potatoes, and then cool them, resistant starch forms.
And then when you eat the rice and potatoes, the resistant starch can improve gut health and digestion.
You can also take large doses of Vitamin C or magnesium, as they can often help with constipation.
So that’s what I’d recommend.
