What type of thyroid medication do you recommend

I usually recommend natural desiccated thyroid. But others find that taking synthetic T4 medication or pure T3 medication or a combination of the two helps them more. It depends on the person. But I'm not a doctor so I would just talk to your doctor about that if you do want to get on thyroid medication.

But again, I don't recommend doing that right now at this point. It should be a last resort. It's not what I recommend as the first step.

Many doctors and practitioners jump to that right away before even addressing the basics. But this program is about healing. So I want to make it so that you don't even need to take thyroid hormone at all.

So if you currently are NOT taking thyroid medication, I don't recommend starting it right now unless absolutely necessary. That is something we can talk about. And I could work with you to find a good practitioner in your area who could get you on thyroid medication if necessary. But I still see it as a band-aid approach. And it's still something that should be considered later. You should definitely start by taking iodine and selenium for now. Thyroid medication shouldn't be ignored, it just shouldn't be the priority.
