My temperature is 97.5 F. What are your thoughts?
You'll want to check more than once, especially once you start taking iodine and selenium, but it suggests you have slight hypothyroidism. Anything less than 97.8 F suggests that. You want it to be consistently above 97.8 F, and preferably closer to 98.6 F. People with severe hypothyroidism are usually much lower than 97.5, so you're not too bad off. But you should still work your way up to 500 mcg of potassium iodide and 260 mcg of sodium selenate as previously suggested.
