I have high arsenic. I eat a lot of thick rice wafers (about a packet a day) and I had read about rice absorbing arsenic. Any thoughts?

I was going to ask you if you ate a lot of rice because yes, it is commonly found in rice. So if you're eating a lot of rice wafers every day, then you might want to back down and not eat so much of them. Also keep taking the selenate because it will be protective against arsenic.

Overall though, I wouldn't worry too much about the arsenic. I don't focus on heavy metals like arsenic with my clients. Trying to detox from heavy metals ends up being a waste of time. Once the coenzymes are fixed, methylation improves, and hundreds of enzymes are fixed. One of those enzymes is glutathione reductase. And glutathione reductase will restore glutathione levels, which will then allow your body to detox arsenic naturally.

Many natural health practitioners make a big deal about heavy metals when they shouldn't. They focus on detoxing their clients from heavy metals, and it often just makes them worse. So I think heavy metals are a distraction. They don't get to the root cause.

The main issue is low production of Flavin Adenine Dinucleotide and Flavin Mononucleotide and poor methylation. Low Flavin Adenine Dinucleotide and Flavin Mononucleotide and poor methylation leads to low levels of glutathione reductase, which then leads to low levels of glutathione within the cell. Without adequate glutathione, you'll have great difficulty eliminating heavy metals like arsenic from the body. So it's best to just fix the root cause (low coenzymes, poor methylation). Otherwise, heavy metals will always be a problem.
