How often should we run the Organic Acids Test?

Most people I work with run the Organic Acids Test once or twice a year since it's expensive. Some are really motivated to monitor the progress and run it every 3-4 months or so.

The Organic Acids Test is the most expensive test though. It also happens to be the most helpful. So what I usually recommend people do is get the Organic Acids Test at the beginning. That way we can see where you're starting out at. It gives us a baseline. Then you don't have to get it done again for a while. Going forward, we can then just use your thyroid markers and your hair test to monitor your progress. And also ferritin, which I talk about more in the week 4 module. And those tests are less expensive. Then, once your thyroid markers and hair test results and ferritin are within the optimal range, you could run the Organic Acids Test done again to see how it has improved.
