I don't like being on a statin. Are you aware of alternatives that can manage cholesterol levels?

Yeah, I’m personally not a fan of statins. I understand why you would be worried about taking one. They can contribute to memory loss and cognitive decline. I know that some are worse than others though. So talk to your doctor about the best options.

High cholesterol is often a sign of low Flavin Adenine Dinucleotide and Flavin Mononucleotide. Both Vitamin B2 and molybdenum are involved in the metabolism of fatty acids and cholesterol.

I see a lot of people, when they’re deficient in molybdenum, they often have elevated cholesterol.

Hypothyroidism also leads to elevated cholesterol. So people with hypothyroidism often have high cholesterol.

High cholesterol can also be a sign of being deficient in adenosylcobalamin. Adenosylcobalamin is involved in the metabolism of fatty acids.

So I do see elevated cholesterol in a decent amount of my clients. And I’ve seen their cholesterol levels drop over time as they fix their cellular deficiencies.

But antidepressants and other psychiatric meds can also cause elevated cholesterol. And this is Keer-in. I’m pretty sure you’re taking an antidepressant. From what I remember. So that could be the main cause of your elevated cholesterol.

I’ve seen some people, it doesn’t matter what they do, their cholesterol remains high while on certain medications. So that needs to be considered as well.

But for others, their cholesterol drops as they go through the program.
