Do I need to stop any of my medications 48 hours before organic acid tests and metals hair test? I'm taking Pristiq, gabapentin, Zyprexa, lithium.

So it depends on how you feel. The main thing is how do you feel if you stop those medications for even just a day. If you really feel like you can't, then keep taking them. But I would recommend trying to go one full day without them. Definitely don't take them in the morning before you take your urine sample. So for example, if you take your medications in the morning, the day before, then if you go 24 hours and then you take your urine sample the next morning, and then you take your medication after your urine sample, that would be good. So if you can do that, that would be great if you could. I mean 48 hours is pretty long so you may not be able to push it to 48 hours, but if you can, that would be great. But if you just time it so it's a good solid 24 hours, that would be helpful. So that's what I would suggest.
