What about the muse headband? Can I use that instead of neurofeedback?

So the muse headband, so it's a form of neurofeedback, but it's not, it's not personalized for your brain. So it won't, it won't work as well as going to see an actual neurofeedback practitioner. So, I mean, you can use the headband if you want, but it really depends on how severe your condition is. So, you know, if you've had brain injuries, concussions, if you have a history of emotional trauma like your brain and nervous system will be too dysregulated. So then the muse headband won't, it's not advanced enough to fix that. So you need to see a practitioner and you need your own advanced training protocol.

____

The muse headband. So it is a neurofeedback device, but it's an all in one device, right? So it's similar to neuroptimal. So I was talking about that last week, I believe. And I don't recommend all in one devices and systems. So the way the muse headband works is it increases alpha brain waves. So that's all it does. That's well, that's the original device. It increased alpha brain waves. Now they have, I think they have new devices and maybe they do more things, but the one I used and recommended at one point, it increased alpha brain waves. And now that can be helpful for some people, but only if they have low alpha brainwaves, right? So some people have high alpha brain waves. So people with like brain fog, depersonalization derealization, they often, when they do a QEEG, you'll see that they have high alpha brain waves. So, in that case, the Muse headband could actually make them worse. So yeah, that why I recommend, you want to see a professional who puts together a training protocol for you and your brain, right? Otherwise you're just not going to get as good of a result. You could benefit from the muse head band. If you want to go ahead and try it, you can. But, I can't really wholeheartedly recommend it anymore because it's not the best option.
