If homocysteine levels are normal or low, does this automatically eliminate the possibility of cellular b12 deficiency?
No, it doesn’t. It’s just one marker. I need to look at a bunch of different markers. I need to look at the big picture.
I’ve had a number of clients who had normal or low homocysteine. But then when I saw their urine test results, they still had a cellular B12 deficiency.
So you can have normal or low homocysteine. But then still be deficient in B12 on a cellular level.
