Does my thyroid medication interfere?

It doesn't interfere with the program. But when someone is on thyroid medication, it can be hard to accurately judge iodine and selenium status simply by looking at thyroid markers. It's difficult for me to know exactly how deficient you are in iodine and selenium by simply looking at your thyroid hormone levels alone. Your thyroid medications interfere with my ability to interpret the test results. They artificially lower your TSH and artificially elevate your T4 and T3 levels. So I really need to see your hair test results. But if you're on thyroid medication, it's very likely you will benefit from the iodine and selenium, and then be able to reduce the dosage of your thyroid medication over time.
