A test shows that I'm allergic to ovalbumin. Are there other foods that you recommend avoiding because of ovalbumin?

Yeah, so ovalbumin is the protein in egg whites.

Now, are you allergic or are you sensitive?

You were probably told you were sensitive after doing one of those useless food sensitivity tests.

You shouldn’t be making decisions based on those food intolerance tests or food sensitivity tests. Those tests are a complete waste of time.

Just listen to your body. If a specific food makes you feel worse right now, then avoid it for now. But if it doesn’t, if you feel fine after eating it, then keep eating it. Don’t avoid it just because a test told you to avoid it.

I was told I was sensitive to egg whites years ago. I was told I was sensitive to everything. Dairy, gluten, eggs, nuts. So I followed a very restrictive diet for years. I avoided egg whites for years. I only ate the yolks. But it got me nowhere. If anything, it made me worse in the long run.

So now I eat whatever I want. I eat eggs every day. I eat 4 eggs per day. Including the whites. I eat dairy every day. They don’t make me feel sick anymore.

My point is that avoiding foods isn’t the answer.

You should avoid foods that actually make you feel sick. For now, avoid them. But you’ll be able to eat those foods again later once you’re actually healthy after following the advice in this program.
