What are your thoughts on saunas and cold therapy like cold showers and plunges? I'm guessing you might find this is not a good idea until recovery similar to exercise.
Well, so I don't really have a big problem with them. They may help. I just don't think they'll get to the root cause of your health problems. So for general health purposes or for, you know, overall health maintenance, they're fine. So for people who are already generally healthy saunas and cold exposure, those are good practices. But I think they are a distraction for people with chronic illness. So there's much, there's just much more important things to be focusing on. And then also they are stressors on your body, similar to exercise. So yeah, so most people with chronic illness, with fatigue, brain fog, they don't need more stress applied to their body. The stress of disease is already stressful enough. So that's why I recommend taking it easy with exercise and mainly just sticking to low impact exercise, like walking.
