What if I'm already taking a B complex supplement with Vitamin B2 in it? Is that good enough?
If you're taking a B complex, that is fine. I would like to see the B complex you're taking. So please send me the brand name so I can look at it and look at the ingredients in it.
But what I would recommend is taking the B complex once per day, sort of like a multivitamin. And then take extra B2 throughout the day. Because you want to be taking B2 throughout the day. But you don't really want to be taking a bunch of B complex capsules throughout the day. Especially if it has folate. Because if you start taking too much folate before we fix the coenzymes and B12, you may not feel that great. It's better to supplement with folate later, and only if necessary.
So the point is that taking a B complex throughout the day may give you too much folate at this point in time. So there's no problem in you taking the B complex, and you can definitely take it. And it will count towards your B2 intake. But just make sure you take extra B2 throughout the day as well.
