To do the T3, T4, B12 and other more routine tests, where do you recommend I go if my doctor doesn’t want to order them? I live in Nelson, BC. We do have LifeLabs here.

You may be able to go to LifeLabs and request the tests yourself. I don’t know for sure. I don’t know what it’s like in BC. But you could try going to a LifeLabs and just ask and see. See if they’ll run the blood tests for you without a requisition form. They might do that.

There’s also a document that you can download in the first week module. And it shares some companies online that provide blood tests directly to consumers. So I would refer to that document as well.
