I've read the sheet outlining what to avoid before acids test. Regarding my medications, I assume it would be good for me to not take them for 48hrs prior to doing my sample. Would I be right?

Yes. If you can manage to stop taking them for 48 hours, that would be great. I would try to do that. But if you can’t make it 48 hours, don’t worry too much about it. Even 24 hours is fine. 

You really just want to avoid taking them for one full day before taking your sample. So the day before you take your urine sample, you would just skip them.  

That’s what I would recommend. Unless you really need them. 

But I think most people can manage skipping them for one day.  

And then you can just take them immediately after you take your urine sample in the morning.
