I am now taking iodine and selenium at recommended doses as well as B2 and potassium. I am working up with molybdenum but I am only at 50 after 3 weeks of these minerals. I know I have to go slow but wondering if I can start B12 now or if I have to wait until I reach the 150 of the molybdenum?
In general, you don’t need to wait until you reach 150 mcg of molybdenum to start the B12. You can start the B12 starting the molybdenum and B2.
But if you’re having reactions to the molybdenum, and you’re having trouble increasing the molybdenum, then I would recommend just focusing on that. It is better to stick with that and get used to that before introducing the B12.
Because then the B12 could cause even more reactions. And then you won’t know what’s causing what. You’ll just make it more difficult for yourself.
So you’re better off just going slow and getting completely used to each supplement before adding in the next one. Focus on increasing the molybdenum further and getting used to that before introducing the B12. Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint.
