I’ve been having migraines the last month or so and never had them before and I was forgetting to take my potassium. Is this what’s causing it you think? I’m taking it now again. Also is there anything that you can think of to help get rid of these migraines?

Yeah, so headaches and migraines are a reaction. So you probably need more potassium. And Kiefer, you probably need to take potassium regularly now because you’ve started the B12.

So, the next time you have a migraine, take 200 to 400 mg of potassium gluconate. And see if it subsides.

It might not subside right away by taking potassium just once.

So then you’ll want to try taking potassium every day, several times throughout the day. You could try taking it 3 or 4 times per day. So, try that, and see if the migraines go away when you do that.

The next option would be to just take a break from the B12 entirely and see if the migraines go away. If you do that, you’ll know for sure if it’s the B12 or not.

So I personally never had issues with migraines. I had headaches after my concussions but not migraines.

So I don’t really have extensive knowledge when it comes to migraines.

But magnesium is the first thing that comes to mind. So you could try supplementing with some magnesium and see if that helps. Or take an Epsom salt bath.

Just make sure you take any magnesium supplements away from the main protocol minerals.

You could also try taking a cold shower because I remember reading that cold exposure could help reduce migraines.

So those are some ideas.
