Is weight gain and acne a possible side effect?
Acne and other skin breakouts are definitely common reactions as people adjust to the protocol.
Some people do see weight gain as they go through the protocol though. Because once your body starts using the energy from your food more efficiently, you can gain weight.
So here's the thing... Before you start the protocol, when you have these cellular deficiencies, your body is not very good at processing the energy from your food. You lose a lot of energy in your urine. I can see that in your Organic Acids Test.
So then a lot of people, they eat a lot of food because their body is actually starving for nutrients.
But then once you start correcting the cellular deficiencies, most people continue to eat the same amount of food that they were eating before. And then they start to gain some initial weight.
So essentially, your body can become much more efficient with its energy. Your body is much better at using the energy from your food. And so it doesn’t need as much energy from food. And so then it starts storing the excess energy as fat.
So what you need to do is you need to adjust your food intake and stop eating so much.
Because your body doesn’t need as much food because it is using energy more efficiently.
